These new drawers are to be fitted inside the new cabinets listed at this site. These new drawers are able to take more weight compared to the old drawers sold by IKEA and they are also with the new and modern SoftClose Technology built in. Therefore these new drawers have a slight different specification compared to the old drawers. These new drawers may be retrofitted inside the old cabinets with a slight modification of the old cabinet. Please just drill one new hole per runner inside the old cabinet and the new drawers will fit. The new runner may be used as a template!
Please note regarding the drawer fronts: As mentioned above these new drawers are able to take more weight compared to the old drawers sold by IKEA and they are equipped with the modern and luxurious SoftClose technology built in. Therefore some specifications are different compared to the old drawers and the old drawer fronts. If you have some old drawer fronts already they will NOT fit onto these new drawers as the drillings are at a slight different position. We therefore strongly suggest you order some new drawer fronts along with the new drawers. If you do we will pre-drill the new drawer fronts according to the new drawer specifications and they will all fit perfectly together.
Yes you may keep your old drawer fronts if you wish but some may find it complicated to re-drill the old drawer fronts to fit the new drawers as the new holes are to be drilled very close to the old holes.
These shelves are good for base units as well as tall cabinets in an IKEA Faktum/ IKEA Rationell kitchen.
