Ventilated Fridge/ Freezer Top Cabinets For IKEA Faktum Kitchens
These cabinets are purpose made to be fitted above a fridge or a freezer in an IKEA Faktum or an IKEA Rationell kitchen. The depth of each cabinet is 58 cm (not counting the front). There is a ventilation duct at the back of each cabinet to let the hot air from the appliance pass through. The inside depth is therefore just 52 cm (the ventilation duct is hidden behind the back of the carcass).
All our carcasses are made “plain white” regardless of the chosen colour for the fronts.
These cabinets are purpose made to be fitted on top of a fridge or a freezer. The excess heat from the appliance is able to pass through on the back sides of these cabinets as there are some empty space behind the back for ventilation.

Please note: If your current hinges are fine there is no technical reason to replace them. Our new doors will have a perfect fit to your current hinges. If you however are after the modern and luxurious SoftClose + SelfClose Technology we suggest you go with the new hinges at the same time as you replace the doors anyway.
